Poor Wi-Fi is usually blamed on the router, the internet line, or the device in the user’s hand. Very often, the problem starts with the access point’s location.
Across offices, schools, warehouses, retail sites, and branch networks, access points are sometimes placed where cabling is easiest rather than where coverage is needed. That can lead to weak signal, dead zones, slow speeds, dropped connections, and repeat support calls that could have been avoided during planning.
A good access point can still deliver poor Wi-Fi if it is installed in the wrong place. In many cases, what appears to be a weak AP is actually a placement issue. Walls, ceilings, distance, interference, user density, power, and uplink capacity all affect the final Wi-Fi experience.

In sites where reliable coverage is expected from day one, placement needs to be treated as part of the design, not as a final installation decision.
